Mobile guard tours with NFC & GPS

Guard tour system with digital logbook

Prove patrols with NFC and GPS checkpoints, record times and document incidents with notes and photos: SecuritGo combines mobile guard tours with an integrated digital logbook. The control room keeps track of tasks, station status and the course of operations.

In the field

What does a digital guard tour system do?

A guard tour system makes patrols of a site traceable. Checkpoints are created and linked to specific tasks. The security officer confirms each inspection on site; the control room can view progress in the context of the whole operation. With SecuritGo, mobile guard tours and route planning are part of one platform. This is particularly helpful for mobile patrol services that visit several sites during a shift.

For each checkpoint, you can store a name, description, tasks and files. NFC scans and GPS checks are available for on-site verification.

Easy to get started – even for new staff

SecuritGo is deliberately designed to be as easy to use as possible, so that new staff quickly find their way around and need as little training as possible. The AR view helps with orientation on site and makes it easier to find checkpoints. This makes starting a patrol simpler.

Confirm NFC checkpoints

Checkpoints are confirmed via NFC scan. Instead of a general report for the entire patrol, you get proof for each individual station. Staff can see in the app which checkpoints and tasks are still open.

Verify GPS checkpoints

For GPS checkpoints, you store coordinates and an adjustable verification radius. The GPS check compares the reported position with these settings. This shows whether the security officer is within the intended area of the checkpoint.

Record incidents in the integrated logbook

If a security officer notices anything unusual, they can select the incident type and add a note and a photo. The digital logbook is part of the guard tour system and complements the documentation of the patrol.

Designed for real-world use

Example: a patrol at a commercial site

A possible scenario: during an evening patrol, a side entrance, an access road and the alarm system need to be checked. You configure the specific tasks according to each contract.

  1. Prepare checkpointsDispatch assigns NFC and GPS checkpoints to the site and adds tasks, such as checking a door or activating the alarm system. For GPS checkpoints, they define the position and verification radius.
  2. Carry out the patrolThe security officer opens the site inspection in the app. The AR view helps them find the checkpoints on site more easily. They then work through the tasks and, depending on the checkpoint, perform the NFC scan or the GPS check.
  3. Document deviationsIf, for example, a door is damaged, the security officer records the incident with a note and photo. Inspection status and incident remain traceable.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about mobile guard tours

Is the digital logbook part of the guard tour system?

Yes. With SecuritGo, the digital logbook is integrated into the guard tour system. In addition to checkpoints and tasks, your team documents times and incidents with notes and photos right on the job.

How does SecuritGo make it easier for new staff to get started?

The app is designed to require as little training as possible. Tasks and checkpoints are available directly in the app. The AR view helps new staff find their bearings and makes it easier to locate checkpoints at the site.

Which devices is SecuritGo available for?

The SecuritGo mobile app is designed for Android and iOS. We'll discuss which devices suit your operations and NFC use based on your existing equipment.

Can the app be used without an internet connection?

Yes, the mobile app also works offline. A connection is required for up-to-date transmission to the control room. In the demo, we'll show you how the app handles dead zones and how data is transmitted afterwards.

How do NFC and GPS checkpoints differ?

NFC checkpoints are confirmed by scanning. For GPS checkpoints, the reported position is compared with the stored coordinates and the configured verification radius. Both methods help make an inspection traceable; the right settings depend on the site.

How are guard tours connected to the route?

The route guides the security officer to the sites. At each site, the associated checkpoints and tasks are completed. The control room can view the route sequence and inspection progress together.
